Our Physicians for Peace Philippines Walking Free program has grown since its inception in 2005 and has become our Flagship project in the country.

SEEING CLEARLY

Physicians for Peace Philippines deploys teams to remote regions, where patients have limited access to healthcare providers and resources like prescription eye glasses.

BURN CARE AND REHABILITATION

In the Philippines, burns pose a health threat – particularly to women and children… Because burn injuries require specialized treatment, Physicians for Peace Philippines collaborated with partners to establish its first subacute burn rehabilitation unit…

SURGERY

For more than two decades Physicians for Peace Philippines has been working alongside local surgical teams, providing much-needed training programs and educational tracks that ultimately lead to the best result of all: healthier patients.

HEARING

Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) Physicians for Peace (PFP) has been investing in the administrative and programmatic capabilities of its local affiliate, Physicians for Peace Philippines (PFP-PHI) over the past 15 years.

Women’s Health Screening

Globally, Cancer is the second leading cause of death and is responsible for an estimated 9.6 Million preventable deaths annually in 2018 or 1 for every 6 global deaths. In the Philippines, Cancers are third among the causes of death in the 2015 Philippine Health Statistics and is responsible for more than 60,000 deaths per year or 1 for every 10 deaths is due to cancers or malignant neoplasms.
