SEEING CLEARLY
Restoring Vision, Building Futures
PFPP deploys teams of optometrists to remote schools and communities where patients have limited access to healthcare providers and resources like prescription glasses. Vision impairment affects learning, relating, and working efficiently and safely. Working with local teams in multiple provinces of the Philippines to restore the eyesight of patients starting with children are school entry to adults of working age as well as retirees. Optometrists conduct vision screening, and refraction for prescribed eyeglasses to correct errors of refraction, and conducts lecture on vision/eye health care to teachers, volunteers, parents, and children/adult beneficiaries. Child blindness prevention is a commitment of the PFPP to our growing children to help prepare them for life.
