Nanay Divina is 71 years old from Dipaculao Baler Aurora and is just so happy after receiving her hearing aid from Physicians for Peace Philippines and Better Hearing Philippines. You can see the joy in her face. We are just so happy for her too.

It’s sad when you heart wants to do something to someone in need but we can’t because it is too late, our assistive device cant do anything at all. Rosecel is deaf and mute and was one of those who lined up for hearing aid. But hearing aid will no longer be of much use to her.

Nikko and Joanna are “sweethearts” , and are both deaf and slightly mute. Because they are hearing impaired they communicate through sign language. Nikko , though, patiently teaches and encourages Joanna to speak rather than sign language. The lovebirds are so happy with their hearing aids and you should have heard them exchange their “i love you” when they got their hearing aids. Amusing! We are just so happy to see the glow in their faces now that they can hear each other well and communicate better.
