Happy reunion with our beneficiary! Prinz Charlz got his first leg from Physicians for Peace upon a request from Rotary project WALK of RC Kalibo and RC Makati Forbes, when he was just 5 years old. He has been a beneficiary of our partnership since then. Frenz is now 14 and has grown up to be a fine young man, happy and proud of how his prostheses changed his life. It was a happy reunion with Frenz in Kalibo , Aklan mission and as we promised, he will get his new prostheses as he has outgrown what he is using right now.

BEYOND WHEELCHAIR & ASSISTIVE DEVICES ASSESSMENT
Majority if not all of the children & adults evaluated were consulting for the first time & they have travelled 1-2 hours to reach mission site — the team took time to provide instructions & demo on proper positioning & carrying techniques, basic range of motion exercises, pressure sore precautions and emphasized the need for compliance so optimum functionality may be achieved once we provide them with appropriate devices
