Everything happens for a reason indeed… After the first day of the Healthcare Mission in Tagum, our team decided to go around the night market with our host, Vice Gov Uy. As we were going around, we chanced upon Dante, a 40 year old Polio victim, begging for food and money . We immediately talked to him, encouraged and appealed to him to see us at the mission site the next day so he can get some help from us. We were so happy to see him the next morning! Our Rehab doctor confirmed, he is a Polio victim. He was so happy receiving a tryke from us so he can now go around the market to sell fruits or veggies, and no longer beg for food. Mrs Alma Uy, will help him to earn rather than beg! Thank you Latter Day Saints Charities for the tryke! #physiciansforpeaceph #wemadeonepersonSmile
