Physicians for Peace Philippines’ women health program (Breast and Cervical Screening) was part of PFPP’s healthcare activity in Surigao. Former DOH Secretary Dr. Paulyn Jean Rosell-Ubial , PFPP trustee conducted yesterday, a lecture on Women health “Ating Dibdibin” to Barangay health workers in Barangay Washington Surigao, to educate , create awareness and encourage women to undergo tests. It was a well attended activity and many women lined up today for the breast and cervical screening.
Physicians for Peace Healthcare mission team just landed Siargao and is now in San Benito, a 5th class town/community. We will do Minor surgeries, hearing health, women health, vision care and Mobility/Walking free program with provision of wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
