It was a meaningful day for us at Physicians for Peace Philippines as we spent providing assistive devices to PWDs here in Dapitan and SPED schoolchildren in Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte. Always feels good knowing there are just very few vision impaired children found in every school visit we do. Just finished Canlucani elementary school in Zamboanga del norte and the result is AMAZING! Out of 85 kindergarten and grade 1 pupils checked, only two (2) have been found to be vision impaired. The school is 3rd place in “Gulayan sa Paaralan” in Dapitan city division. Just thought children are better nourished coz eating veggies is encouraged
